What? You’ve never seen a cake this thicc before? Well get used to it because this sticker design is here to stay. We’re sex positive over here, plus it’s such a great play on words that I had to do it. Also, who’s to say it’s not an actual cake that just looks like a butt? Like on that weird Netflix (I think) reality food show with that one guy from SNL about cakes that look hyper realistic. They are desperate to recreate the phenomenon of Nailed It, but Nicole Byer is an absolute treasure and trying to duplicate what she brings to the table is a fool’s errand. (Grand Crew is also a fun good show btw)

Put them on laptops, water bottles, notebooks, skateboards or over your best friend’s mouth. Give a gift that will be truly loved, or treat yourself for a hard days work!

Darling Homebody

Darling Homebody is a small business by Chicago artist Nicole Jakus, offering original stickers, pins, prints and gifts for sweet and salty goths, gays, girls and theys. With the intention of allowing people to create a space where being your authentic self is not only encouraged, but also inspirational for others to do the same.

If you don't already know, my name is Nicole (She/Her) and I live in Chicago with three hairy roommates, my cats Socks & Butter and my boyfriend James. The art that I make is usually either very cute or a little spooky and sometimes my weird sense of humor ends up showing through (especially with some of the item descriptions that I’ve been coming up with lately). It really just boils down to whatever inspires me and makes me excited to share with other people. I think the hardest part about transitioning from hobby to business was resisting the urge to just give everything away for free to people who shared my enthusiasm. Because that’s what keeps me going, the fact that other people can relate to and also find joy in what I create even though they weren’t actively a part of the creation process. My goal is to one day live off of my art and I will keep trying until that dream comes true. Please join me in this journey, any amount of support makes a big difference!
